The rules of BangOn
Free to play — no entry fee
The basics
- 1Nail the exact score → BANG ON! Your first BANG ON gets –5, your second gets –10, your third –15, and so on
- 2Predict the exact score for all the matches in each gameweek or timeframe — before each match kicks off
- 3Get the result right (win/draw/loss) without a BANG ON and you earn a –1 bonus on that game's error
- 4Add up the total goals you were off. Predict 2–0, result is 1–3, means your error was 4
- 5Lowest total error across all the games wins the week
- 6Skip a week entirely without saving any predictions and you'll be pegged to the worst active score that week.
- 7Join any time — mid-week or mid-season. Just save predictions for the games still to kick off. Any you've already missed this week are recorded as nil–nil.
- 8For knockout matches that go to extra time, scores are based on the 90-minute result only.

Each prediction locks the moment that match kicks off. You can update unlocked predictions any time before kickoff. Once a game starts, your prediction for that game is final.
